Recent bad weather has led to record instruction levels for Oxfordshire based company specialising in fire and flood restoration.
The Revival Company has announced a huge increase in turnover as a result of floods caused mainly from burst pipes.
Technical Manager Simon Walker explained:
“Our current level of instructions – received mainly from insurers – for the period November ’10 to January ’11 is 65% more than the same period in 2010. This is due in part to the coldest December on record leading to a massive increase in burst pipes and the subsequent damage caused by flooding.”
Director of Operations, Jim Herrington, added:
“Whilst the increase in business is very good for us, we recognise that this can be a very traumatic time for our customers. For this reason, we have as a company always placed great importance on training our staff how to deal sensitively with these sorts of situations.
The Revival Company – one of the UK’s leading fire and flood restoration businesses – operates around the world in both domestic and commercial markets.
